Discussion: The unit 31244 is a vertical plaster layer on the buttress F. 3326. It has a direct connection to the fire installation F. 3391, if it was a part of it or not is uncertain. It separates the layers 31237 and 31240 from the mudbrick of the buttress. It is connected to, but not the same as unit 31242, the boundary of F. 3391.
Unit 31244 was not excavated and not fully exposed.
