Discussion: A thick 6cm layer of massive, homogenous plaster (U.32065) was recorded directly beneath the hard-backed base (U.31547) of detached oven F.7868. The fire installation was placed in South-Western segment of Sp.531. The plaster was recognized as mid-white deposit composed of clay - tempered densely by organic material (chaff). It was set directly on the top surface of one of the plastered floor without a cut. On the top surface of the unit there were evidenced clear traces of burning which was caused by high temperature and the fire kept in the above oven.
Intriguing is however that for the construction of the feature there was decided to use white plaster material that was encircled by lower part of superstructure (U.31548). It seems that the construction of the oven had been planned and both of the building materials (brownish Superstructure 31548 and white Plaster 32065) in the form of pastes they were prepared to use in purpose on the spot. Mutual overlapping that was evidenced between both of the units imply single deliberate constructional episode. Nevertheless, the plaster was exclusively reserved to the central (internal-core) part of the oven and on top of it there was set base of the fire installation.
