Discussion: it is a layer of an infill of a large pit situated in S part on an extension (feature 1175). It was a mixed layer witch some orange inclusions connected probably witch a layer of burnt (unit 8936) situated on its S edge.
The unit 8970 by itself is a part of a fill of a large pit. On the same level of the pit to other small layers were distingnised (units 8953 and 8971) and underneath those three small layers, other tree (but covering the whole surface of the pit) there distingnised - these are units 10907, 10910 and 10922.
All 6 of these units form an infill of a pit which cut is registered as 10923.
The large pit (feature 1175) was also excavated in previous seasons and in this level of the pit (the 4th one) it was unit 7449.
