Discussion: It was a layer of an infill of a large pit (feature 1175) in S part of an extension. The pit was first visible in W section of the main trench while on the surface of the extension, within the pit, some smaller layers were distingnished (units 8953, 8971, 8970). Infill 10907 is then the first layer of an infill of the pit which covers the whole surface of the pit. The unit 10907 is a dark infills cut destoyd partly a structure of a kiln (unit 7852) situated nearby. The layer is mixed - some small lumps of mudbricks were found which may by asociated witch the kiln.
The other part of a large pit (feature 1175) was also excavated in frevious seasons. In this level of a pit (the 3rd one) it was unit 7156.

Condition: cool, windy, dry 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: mid brown to dark grey - nearly black 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive witch little lumps of mudbricks 

Inclusions: pottery, bones 

Post-depositional Features: plant roots
