Unit 10441
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Surface
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: raised area (platform); Deposition: multiple
Discussion: Deposit to south of bench F1503. Consists of many thin layers of plaster and make up 7cm thick. Approx. Twelve different layers were noted. This appears to represent the continued refurbishment of this area of floor (platform F1510).
Plaster surfaces (10442) on S side of bench F1503 would appear to relate to these refurbishment episodes.
Platform also extension to W of (10443) below by 20cm approx.
So compound layers that make up (10441) not only raise platform but have extended it to the west.
