Unit 10910
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 0.84 x 2.00 x 0,21
Discussion: It was a layer of an infill of a large pit (feature 1175) in S part of an extension. The pit was first visible in W section of the main trench while on the surface of the extension, within the pit, some smaller layers were distingnised (units 8953, 8971, 8970). Underneath there was the first infill layer which covered the whole surface of the pit - that was unit 10907 and unit 10910 was distingnised underneath 10907.
It was looser than 10907 but witch the same amount of lumps of mudbricks.
The second whole level of the pit (unit 10910) is slightly smaller than the upper level (10907) - the cut changed slightly its diameter (it is slightly smaller).
Basal boundary differed from 1017,25 (in its N & W parts) to 1017,18 (in its S part). The other part of a large pit (1175) was also excavated in revious seasons. In this level of the pit (the 2nd one) it was unit 7087.
