Unit 11376
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Midden
Data Category Information: Location: in abandoned building; Deposition: finely bedded; Basal Spit: basal deposit
Discussion: Three clay balls were found near each other.
Layer of midden believed to lie above room fill. Layer was still concentrated with bones and other typical finds from midden. At northern edge, near wall (11368), layer of this unit removed, revealing plaster on wall. Corner of house was also revealed. When removing last layer of midden, brick and plaster was revealed. Room fill was also revealed. Plaster and brick on ground can be a resulf of collaspe. Few finds as we reached the end of the layer, thus leading us to believe we had reached roomfill.
