Unit 11483
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: plaster on pillaster face
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: post; Material: plaster; Deposition: layered (wall plaster); Basal Spit: unpainted
Dimensions: 0.25 high and up to 2cm thick
Discussion: layer peeled off to be hicked in one place than had previously looked. Pillaster is now free; this plaster seens ti be equivalent to the plaster that ran along the bench (11474), removed earily today. Looked the same, would have been removed as 1 layer but was no clear follow-on, looked more like a join/break between the 2, as if plaster laid on in 2 phases, but seemingly faces existed contemporaneously.
