Unit 11654
Category: Cut dug in 2005
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: cut of skeleton
Data Category Information: Description: burial
Discussion: Body was complete apart form parts of leg and pelvis, suggesting this body was cut at some point, possibly by F.1437 whose head was very close to the pelvis here. Cut seemed to respect F.1344, suggesting these bodies may lie in the same cut?? Sisde by side, very close. This theory is now discounted, due to distribution of overlying charnel covering one, but not the other.
Recognition: by position of bones
Definition: very poor
Execution: leaf trowel
Condition: dry, soil very hard, compact
Shape: rectangular
Sides: straight, vertical
Base Break: smooth
Base: sloped down to north where legs would have been, into cut 11651 of skeleton F.1347
Orientation: head to west, feet to east
