Unit 13079
Category: Layer dug in 2006
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This is some sort of occupation level situated under Building 62. It contains elements indicative of its use as well as debris of variety sort of in particular elements of buildings destruction.
Two hearths were noticed in eastern part of the level and recorded as units 13072 and 13074. They appear to be used earlier than the formation of this infill layer. Concentrations and clusters of rubble was located in various parts of the entire surface (u. 13073, 13076, 13082, 13078, 13071). They may have originated from the roof colapse. Phytolits were present within the infill in great abundance. Their preliminary analysis indicates the presence of elements of roofing material in this infill. Basal boundary was very irregular and was partly arbitrary. In NW corner underneath the unit, a clay layer was noticed and recorded as unit 13505.
