Discussion: We are going to excavate this unit with a section at 690.50 E in order to asess the nature of the fill. If necessary we are going to dig an arbitrary box to see the cut and the adjacent stratigraphy in order to better understand the complicated erosion slope situation. Initially this looked like a disturbance or pit but on excavation is the soft fill of an area of animal distrubance. Very loose and very irregular.

Consistency: Very loose, friable and soft 

Colour: Light greyish brown 

Texture: Fine silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: small pottery sherds, obsidian, animal (?) and human bone
