Unit 15360
Category: Layer dug in 2011
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: fill lense
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: ca. 3m N-S x ca. 3m E-W x ca. 10cm deep
Discussion: Unit was a lens of fill with an amorphous shape in plan and a gently rounded basal boundary. Located in the center of Space 342, 15360 appears to be a fill episode in a depression, or sunk down after deposition. Unit was relatively thin, (ca. 10cm) and did not appear to have a cut, suggesting it wasn't a pit. Beneath 15360, a rodent bioturbation ran through the entire center, in a N-S orientation (16940). This burrow divided two other fill lenses (16938, 16939) that all together defined the base of 15360. An iron nail was found in the rodent burrow in the unit, casting doubt on the integrity of the context/
