Discussion: Small area on West edge of excavation where deposit below slopes down sharply and 1569 fills the hollow. Arbitrary edge has been temporarily created while wall feature 58 is demolished. The deposit continues west beyond this limit. Dry Sieve Information: Unknown if any dry seive

Consistency: moderately firm 

Colour: 2.5Y 3/2 very dark greyish brown 

Texture: clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: bone 

Post-depositional Features: covered by later dumps, compacted by Mellart 

Basal Boundary: distinct wavey, with sloping sides to layer below. Irregular at bottom.
