Unit 1593
Category: layer dug in 1996
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: fill of cut
Data Category Information: Location: floor (packing only); Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 1.58m x 0.62m x (0.02-0.06m)
Discussion: After removal of the filling from the Northern half of cut 1546to its base, it was attempted to separate at least the most distinct of these in the Southern half of the cut (left in section). 1593 is immediately below 1532 and is the upper major layer of cut 1546. Within this, some smaller more charcoal rich lenses were observed and the unit probably includes several episodes of deposition.
