Discussion: Unit 16964 is the roomfill in space 450 above and around the plaster installation 15373. This roomfill unit is only located in the southern part of the space, as the northern part of the space 450 was excavated earlier this season by BOD (u. 15373, 15361). The fill is quite firm in the western part of the unit, containing a lot of inclusions. The eastern part of the fiill looks a little different. In front of f. 3326 (wall facing west) is a big ashy lens located as well in front of f. 5057 (wall facing north). Besides these grayish-black ashy spots the fill of the eastern part is quite loose and crumbly, has a patchy brownish-grayish color and includes a lot of pottery.
