Discussion: Unit 16972 was the first layer to be removed from sp. 341 in 2012. The layer was thisck but heterogenous. The unit was differentiated from the layer underneath by the differences in soil compactness. The bottom is more compact fill than this unit. It is harder to detect the walls of the space. Most of the finds consist of ceramics, bone, and few clayballs. A larger plaster piece was found in the western wall and a cluster of ceramic lay in the edge of the space connecting it with the central room. Pieces of plaster were found throughout the unit.
