Discussion: By taking out the roomfill of space 310 we found a second layer of plaster beneath plaster (13726). When it is fresh and covered, the surface has a brownish red colour. Maybe the plaster was painted red. Later the walls were plastered again with unit (13726) as (17249). (13726) is younger than (17249).

(KTX 29/7/12) - This unit represents the wall plaster cobvering the walls and buttresses in space 310. The material seems to be of a high quality compared to the brick material and was obvioulsy used in specific areas relevant to the costruction and static properties, eg. Corners of the walls or plastering. Also parts where the same material was used to repair or 'plug' the holesd in the wall, possibly during construction or during maintenance phases, were identified although this material was not counted to this unit. What is left of the wall plastering (only few smaller areas ca. 30x20cm) was removed to expose the inside make-up of the walls and buttresses. During this work the scraping of the walls most likely caused some of the mudbrick material to be mixed with the plaster of this unit so that the volume of this unit may not be representative.
