Discussion: This unit is a layer of fill at the bottom of the walls of Space 340 (F.2413/5055 and F.2428). The fill differed from the mudbrick of the walls by having more and larger artifacts and being composed of a more heterogeneous fill. The fill extends about 5cm into the wall and is backed by a layer of plaster (irregularly). 

Consistency: somewhat loose 

Colour: dark yellow brown 

Texture: silty 

Bedding: heterogeneous 

Inclusions: pottery, obsidian, animal bones, stone 

Post-depositional Features: rodent burrows 

Basal Boundary: floor of B98
