Unit description: Smallish unit, remarkable for nearly pristine condition of nearly all bone, although some of it is digested and a couple of pieces more rolled. Variety of taxa and body parts, including young dog humerus, nearly complete and a bit of pig. Cattle carpal burnt as from roasting on proximal surface, although this doesn't make much sense: roasting metacarpal + wrist? Clearly buried quickly, but origins seem somewhat mixed. Could be seen as small sample of upper parts of 1873, but how does the weathering compare?
