Unit 2060
Category: cut dug in 1997
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: pit cut,posthole cut
Data Category Information: Description: posthole
Dimensions: 0.94m N-S x 0.52m E-W
Discussion: Pit cut, however rounded base and steep sides may indicate that this is a post hole.
Slight problem with matrix as it was recorded as being under 1872, but may in fact cut the lower deposits (mostly brick collapse). Recorded as 1873.
However, brick fill of 2060 may be same as that in 1873. So we may be all right.
