Discussion: Unit 21145 was an ashy patch at the surface of u. 21143 (foundation). It was located between that foundation and the buttress (u.21104). It highly resembled mortar, which could be used as a kind of glue connectiong these units. Due to its consistency it was excavated with trowel and brush.

Texture: Silt and ash 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Charcoal

Basal Boundary: Antropogenic, sharp, contrast= prominent, form=smooth
