Unit description: A medium-smallish unit. Dry sieve material consists of 03 size long bones, ribs and a couple of vert frag, a sh/gt radius fragment, skull, horn core and tooth fragments, and a probably sheep phalanx 2. Pieces are mostly in the 2-3cm range but some larger. The 07 material contains some big pieces - two big c.10cm chunks of rib (amongst other smaller), a chunk of acetabulum (Bos) and a complete(ish) Bos tooth. Material is fairly consistently weathering stage 3, a low proportion burnt black and a single calcined fragment. Sample 1 4mm was done in full. F47 is an 03 long bone shaft with ?consumption cut marks. Otherwise, sample generally reflects the dry sieve sample. There is no integrity to the unit - e.g. loose teeth but no mandible fragments - suggesting that several sources contributed, but in general material seems to be post-consumption/processing debris, and the big chunks indicate that it was not lying around for long on the surface.Figurine Records: No GroundStone Records: No Heavy Residue Records: No Microfaunal Records: No
