Discussion: This cut is made into platform F. 7954, fairly near the ladder (u. 22692). It may either represent a scoop made for the storage of pots and/or other materials, or may be the ladder scar from another ladder emplacement, or even possibly the other side of this same ladder. As nothing was found within the fill u. 22659, it is difficult to state with certainty the original purpose of this small cut in the SE platform, though these hypotheses have all been discussed.
