Discussion: U. 22659, scoop infill, was located in the SW corner of B. 131. The boundaries were clear, because of different colour and texture. It was a light grey sandy loam with some charcoal inclusions, and the floor in which it was dug is more yellowish and firm. There were seeds at the bottom. It was excavated with trowel and brush. Scoops like this one are often used for storing objects at the foot of the ladder entering into the building; we, however, found no artifacts in this fill.
