Discussion: Fill surrounding foundation burial with no definable unit edge for the cut - so the fill was arbitrarily defined in adjacency to the human remains. Foundation burials are as the term defines them below the floors of buildings, so burning described in fill/skeleton/cut unit sheet is not an open fire burning but more a type of anaerobic baking underneath the heat caused by conflagration of building 131. 

Consistency: soft/friable 

Colour: light to mid dark grey 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: organic remains - flecks and small fragments of mainly charcoal, aggregates - flecks and small fragments of red (burnt) bricks, mortar, plaster
