Dimensions: 0.70 m N-S x 0.60 m E-W x ca 30mm thick 

Discussion: homogenous of dense deposit which given nature of it must have been same kind of packing deposit. To east overlay baked 'crust' 2743' where it also overlay a very thin lens of ashy material possibly usage deposit (this came off with the archive sample) to the south it broke off the edge of the F.I. very clearly but irregularly i.e.. not a smooth basal boundary.

Colour: 10 YR 6/3 pale brown 

Texture: fine sand salty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 2% >2mm clay frags, 1% < 3mm charcoal

Basal Boundary: clear, anthropogenic levelling or make-up
