Interpretive Categories: discard/rubbish,in-situ

Data Category Information: Location: midden; Material: obsidian; Deposition: primary deposition

Dimensions: c. 0.3m E-W x 0.2 m N-S x 2mm thick

Description: No discernible pattern i.e. concentration or larger frags versus smaller. Random Scatter
Contained within laminations and lenses of 2845 as a discreet scatter.
Similar to 2594 however both were separate discrete events although later possibly deposited immediately after earlier. Recognised as separate events as one lens overlay the other.

Discussion: Can a similarity be seen in these 2 events?

In context of this space I would suggest it's swept in material and chucked in the 'midden' area other than material resulting / debris of in-situ working. However this type of material is usually associated with hearth rake out which it isn't in this case.
