Discussion: 30197 – arbitrary burial infill of burial F.7330
The deposit (U.30197) was arbitrarily recorded as burial infill in order to maintain appropriate recording procedures. The described method was obtained due to lack of the burial cut nearby the skeletons (U.30190, 30191). The layer composed of the material that was found mainly below the skeleton and in the closest proximity of the uncovered human bones. In the course of action there was mini-clay ball, as well as sample of weaved textile imprints registered under the separate unit number (30197), that was distinguished from the surrounding room-fill/packing layer (U.30189). It is obvious that both deposits (30197, 30189) need to be regarded at this stage as the same accumulation proceedings involved with the construction of the B.108 (see also description of U.30189). Consequently, their identical texture and consistency plus the lack of the burial cut may together imply that the act of placing the material had been carried out simultaneously with performing funeral feature (F.7330). For this reason, the burial might be considered as a special foundation deposit established before performing first floor plaster within Sp.84 (B.108).

Finds Room Information:

All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.

X Finds Material: nothing recorded

Finds Material Stored: nothing recorded
