Discussion: Heterogeneous infill layer composed of lumps of different materials. The thickness of this layer varies between 0.02 to 0.05m. The unit is thicker in the W, to where the deposits underneath slope.
This layer was lying directly on top of a clean grey plaster floors (U.30562). Very few finds were encountered. 

 

Consistency: Soft 

Colour: Light brown to greyish brown 

Texture: Clayish silt 

Bedding: Compound layered 

Inclusions: Charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: Bioturbation (burrows and roots) 

Basal Boundary: Constructional, very sharp
