Discussion: The grey color of this unit was different from the surrounding orange soil. In addition, the grey color followed a pretty regular, circular shape which further identified it as a separate unit. This pit is the earliest in a sequence of three pits which include f.3985 and f.3950 in addition to f.7162. There were no special defining characteristics. The same types of bone and pottery were found in this fill as in other units of this kind. The unit was excavated with trowel.

Inclusions: white calcium deposits 

Post-depositional Features: animal holes 

Basal Boundary: orange layer with a thin, white surface
