Recognition: Dark grey beneath bright orange, easy to see, also seen in section. 

Definition: Boundaries is E and W at edge of oven, and to N ends, cut by Roddy? 

Execution: Leaf trowel, 1/2 sectioned, difficult to excavate as oven still intact so hard to get at and dark. 

Condition: Dark, dry and under cover. 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: 90 % silt, 10% clay 

Texture: 10 YR 5/2 greysih brown 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 20% charcoal 2-10 mm, 15% frequent light yellowish grey
