Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: foundation cut; Deposition: heterogeneous

Discussion: The fill for the foundation trench of B131's east wall (F. 7712). The trench was revealed in plan after the removal of unit 32128, although it was hard to define in the northern end of the space. After the removal of F.7712, the western limit of the trench was revealed. Furthermore, a series of four foundation bricks (32154) were also revealed in the southern portion of the space, perhaps to stabilize the wall in that portion of the midden. 

Consistency: friable to compact 

Colour: medium grayish brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal and other plant/organic remains <2%; aggregates <2%; artefactual 2-5% 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrowing, insects 

Basal Boundary: clear, anthropogenic with a slight soutward slope
