Description: had hand/finger impressions in surface. Comparisons wiuth excavators hands showed that the hande that made these impressions was relatively small; a child?

Discussion: Floor surface incorporating truncated portion of south wall of B131 F7705.

2017 excavation notes: This unit looks like a part of remodelling of area that cuts into the south wall F7705 - was probably a niche or storage area (maybe for kitchen utensils) being that it respects the outline/shape of the oven F7953 that was also cut into the south wall F7705. If nothing else it is clearly built after the oven was already in place. Layer below, the plaster surface - unit 23024 that covers the entire area of this sunken space - abuts the south wall F7705 while this unit covers the area that cuts into the wall. Once layer 23024 was removed it became obvious that this area was planned as a niche - it had another plaster layer leveling it and lipping up to the oven F7953.

Post-depositional Features: burning 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic, distinctive, smooth
