Discussion: Fill of possible niche in wall 7708, initially thought that this might be burrowing, but plaster seems to respect the edge of the niche in a regular manner, so likely to be a genuine feature. Small niche built into E face of w wall of platform 7950 blocked by this deposit 32395, seemingly just before burning of the building as there is no evidence for plastering over 32395.
Blocking likely to be contemporary with blocking of niche on N wall 7707 (by 32313, niche = 7986)
In 2017 after remove the mudbrik above the niche appeared a small traces of plaster which was taken as sample (S3) for the same unit number (32395) (AFK 2017)

Inclusions: frequent brick frags (20%), occasional plaster & charcoal flecks (1-2%)
