Discussion: Rim of white plaster material at boundary of oven F.252. Similar to layer ( ) found at the S end of the oven. Very uncertain what interpretation to put on this unit, some part of the preparation for building the oven ?? (30/8)
Recognition: Recognised during cleaning, white colour contrast with brown and grey adjacent layers.
Definition: Clear, defined by baulk to W.
