Discussion: Nineteenth layer of floor lenses on platform F239. Labelled 38 on plan 98-639.

Layer of plaster floor, is patchy and discontinuous, has very thin greasy dark lens underneath. This was not evident in the section. Excavated as one unit as too difficult to separate. 

Recognition: Floor of platform. Colour/texture changes. 

Definition: Defined by limit of excavation. 

Execution: Leaf trowel and patience. 

Condition: Dry. 

Consistency: fairly compact 

Colour: 7.5 YR 8/1 white 

Texture: clay, ashy 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: discontinous, pitted and cracked
