Discussion: -Southern aim of bin F 520. Apparently set against the edge of a cut through 4905 in which bins F520 and F 488 were constructed.
-Probably predates the bin floor 4900 which did not run quite up to 4907. 

 

Recognition: Upstanding southern arm of in F 520 

Execution: Trowel 

Condition: Dry 

Consistency: Firm-hard 

Colour: grey-brown 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Massive (in west most 0.2cm underlain by yellowish plaster c4mm thick, in east most 0.4m faced on northern side by greyish marl plaster 6-7mm thick-both removed with 4907); porous, granular feel 

Inclusions: Very occasional small stones and small charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: Occasional fine roots; ants! 

Basal Boundary: Sharp
