Discussion: Dense phytolith spread (not a woven mat) in NW corner of 182 covering depressed area of 5245? May therefore represent some specific activity area in corner of the room opposite the crawlhole + beneath a small shelf on the wall. The phytoliths lip up against the W + N walls, and also against a plaster ridge in surface 5245.
The nature of the deposit was such that it seperated when the overlying fill was lifted off hence some of the material belonging to 5244 went with overlying parts of 5240 + 5238 

Recognition: thin spread of dense white phytoliths in NW corner of sp182. 

Definition: runs up to ridge in surface 5245 to S and runs out to E. 

Execution: unexcavated, only sampled
