Discussion: Deposits under "ashy area" (Unit 6116) in mid-space 158, although material of 6112 also appeared above it in places.
Material (cons. debris) mixed w/ash of unit 6116.

Nothing pops off easily or is easy to follow so we might have gone through few floors/or burning compactions. Samples have been taken from not the smoothest surface, but the yellowest w/thin skin of ash over it.

S6 - should probably be assigned to unit 6112. 

Recognition: A sort of floor already uncovered xxxx F.171 

Definition: moderately clear 

Execution: trowel & finer tools 

Condition: moderately dry 

Consistency: strong 

Colour: brick clay & ash predominately / floor ? = 10YR 6/2 - 6/3 

Texture: silty clay, ash, clay 

Bedding: compound see above + layers of ash 

Inclusions: plaster blobs, phytoliths, charcoal, burnt soil
