Unit 6200
Category: layer dug in 1999
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Photo No: none
The 3rd/4th floor here consisted of many true layers that were packed into this one larger layer of floor. It was spread as indicated on the sketch drawing above. The area of a new feature is also marked above (unit 6240) that appears to be a small bin like structure that consists of a bricky hard edge with whiteish plaster visible on the junction of this bin edge and the northern wall. It is not completely clear what is relation of this floor and bricky floor like surface in the niche in the western wall, ie., it is not clear which of these two is older. Also it is possible that since the edge is not clear, the floor underneath this one, decribed here, is contemporanious with it. Another possibility is that this floor is contemporary with the surface in the niche. It would be clear after excavation of this niche.
