Discussion: This is a layer of destroyed mudbricks placed in SW corner of what appears to be a fallen roof of the Neolithic building. The following units comprise similar deposits: 7886, 7891, 7894 

 

Recognition: presence of destroyed mudbricks 

Definition: rubble of mudbricks 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry, hot and windy 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: from midbrown to dark brown 

Texture: clay with the mixture of mortar, plaster and sand 

Bedding: mixed deposit of destroyed bricks 

Inclusions: pottery, animal bones, obsidian, flint, shell 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: upper part of a fallen wall
