The excavation diaries are a daily log kept by the excavators on site during each season. They record the day to day activity of the team and their observations on their work.

Entry: Today with Maximem we have worked on the hugh Unit Sheet 16886. It is an arbitrary layer. We found some obsidian, a lot of bones, some stones….

Entry: Everbody seemed a bit tired today, even the lovely finds (e.g. a bead from unit 16880 continued by JMR - space 340) and a potstand from unit 16898 (space 310, continued by AWH) couldn't make us sing and dance in the trench. Work progressed much faster now... click here for more...
