Dimensions: 3-5cm bands running around the bricks (11224) 

 

Discussion: Had a lot of finds in it, mortar survived well, very simşlar throughout - charcoal inclusions included some larger lumps too, the size of a big thumb nail. Seems to continue to South of building, where actual walls are still not exposed. A larger strip of mortar separated the lower bricks from those removedwhich appear to belong to a newer building 

 

Recognition: dark colour with ashy inclusions

Consistency: hard, with bricks around it 

Colour: grey, with darker patches

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: bone, obsidian, occasional pieces of pot, lots of charcoal, ash
