Discussion: Niche between west wall, small partition wall, and north partition wall of space 269 in building 57. Some finds were also in unit 12124 which ought to be associated with this unit including a flint core and a clay ball. Objects were found at different levels throughout this unit. 3-4 plaster ledges were present which were continuous with the wall plaster. These were on all 3 sides. East side bonded by plaster ledg which may have stood higher at one point. This may have been a storage space for tools with shelves (?).
Excavation was conducted in haste during the first day. Finds were given x find numbers instead of a cluster number per request of specialists, but coordinates were not taken for all finds.
Recognition: significant change of color, texture. Inclusions change. In "niche" in corner of 12125. probably a cache.
Execution: leaf trowel, brushes, in haste due to upcoming visitors.
