Discussion: This is a small fragment of a floor in S part of Building 61. It is placed direclty underneath younger floor sequence(12289 and 12296).
Because it has the same shape as the unit above(12296) it wasn’t sketched. The floor is sloping to the east and in E-N part is truncated by Byzantine burial(11589). In S part the floor was truncated by yet unspecified constructional event and then filled up with bricky layer composed of fr. Of bricks, mortar and plaster. In the middle of the floor , on its entire width, one grey brick c 0.08 wide was placed.
