Discussion: Heterogeneous unit comprising of thin layers of various forms of midden deposit - some clayey yellow; some ashy and extremely charcoal rich. Towards the centre of this was an unusually concentrated deposit of animal bone in which cluster1572 was recorded. Most of these were fragmented, though some large bone ends were intact. Similar observations were made in the equivalent units excavated in spaces 106 and 107.
