Unit 16690
Category: Layer dug in 2008
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Dump of painted plaster
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: plaster; Deposition: layered (wall plaster); Basal Spit: painted
Discussion: Painted plaster on top of NW platform, but not in-situ. Material was removed from its original location on a wall/feature and dumped on the platform. This material was used as make up and is associated with lower make up of 16682. The plaster is fragmentry and appears to be laying face down. The geometrical designs, with vertical black designs remind me of the wall paintings recorded around the platform in 2006. This unit may have been placed deliberately but was possibly face down and was coverd imidiately with make up 16682
