Discussion: This is a highly packed material surrounding oven's base layer (U.20047). In some parts it seems to also overspread the highly burned oven's base layer. Originally this layer could sit at the top of the oven's base as a result of a rebuilding / recinstruction act of the oven's form.
Moreover this layer sits at the white and unburned plaster layer, which seems to be the bottom layer of this feature. 

Consistency: highly compact / firm 

Colour: brown, yellow 

Texture: silty-clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: calcium spots, charcoal fragments 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows 

Basal Boundary: constructional, abrupt & very sharp with U.20047 side
