Data Category Information: Location: in abandoned building; Deposition: finely bedded

Dimensions: 2,8m NS x 2,4m E-W x 0,15m thick

Discussion: Arbitrary layer, in the midden, filling the space below building 108, which wasn't apparent during the excavation but was clearly visible in the section, in the upper part of the midden, was probably disturbed by a cut and a singular infill event.
The layer contained more or less fragmented (but still a lot of) animal bones, was more greyish, and the arbitrary layer wasn't layered.

Excavated as an arbitrary c. 0.15 m thick spit layer (from the surface of the midden until the even level Z1012.70).

Recognition: Arbitrary layer of midden, different colour than around.

Definition: Up to a wall in N, up to a section in W, clear in S and E.

Condition: dry and hot

Consistency: soft, friable

Colour: dark grey, blackish, with yellow clay inclusions

Texture: silty loam and clay
