Discussion: The unit is the mortar inbetween bricks of wall F3676 with unit number 21114 which seperates the surface/ the origin of the unit is to "glue" the bricks into a wall so it could be solid. Probably the relation of the wall and the rooms (sp.95, 96) was to separate the spaces. The unit was excavated with mattock and trowel, and to clean we used a brush. The wall was built on the room fill. The thickness is approximately 3 to 5 cm.
